Toshio Kodama

Profile
Dr. Kodama graduated from the Faculty of Science at Hokkaido University in 1995. He completed his doctoral studies at the Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University, in 2002, receiving a Ph.D. in Medicine. In the same year, he was appointed Assistant Professor at the Research Institute for Microbial Diseases, where he was later promoted to an Associate Professor. In 2020, he was appointed as a Professor at the Institute of Tropical Medicine, Nagasaki University. He has held his current position since 2026.
