Research achievement by Drs. Hirayasu and Arase et al.was published in Nature Microbiology.

Microbial pathogens degrade immunoglobulin or antibody by producing proteases and thus disrupt antibody function for host defense against pathogens. Dr Hirayasu and Dr Arase et al. (Dept of Immunochemistry) found the novel receptor to detect degraded immunoglobulin.This work was electrically published in April 25, 2016 on Nature Microbiolpgy.
