Sequential control of Toll-like receptor-dependent responses by IRAK1 and IRAK2.

IRAK-1 and IRAK-2 play redundantly for the initial responses to Toll-like receptor (TLR) stimulation. IRAK-1 acts at early time points after TLR stimulation, whereas IRAK-2 is critical for sustaining the responses at later time points.
