Training Course on Tropical Infectious Diseases for Clinical Doctors

RIMD provides clinical training courses on Tropical Infectious Diseases in Thailand. This year seven clinical doctors participated the 10^th course under the cooperation of the local medical institution including the hospitals in the area of the border between Thailand and Myanmar.

In Japan, recently it has been increasing that the people develop tropical infectious diseases after returning from the epidemic area, and there is a need for clinical doctors to have the knowledge of infectious diseases and experiences of its treatment. This training provides an opportunity for Japanese clinical doctors to examine the local infectious diseases’ cases such as Dengue fever which are hardly seen in Japan, that leads them to improve their skills.
