In this facility, as a part of the activity of the National BioResource Project (NBRP) directed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan, and as a member of the Japan Society for Culture Collections (JSCC), pathogenic bacterial strains are being collected and preserved.
